To kick things off on the relaunched ATD blog, I'm sharing the Zippy Linen Pin Pillow tutorial from 2015.

The Zippy Linen Pin Pillow is a great way to use scraps of linen or cotton or pretty much any fabric that you can sew on your sewing machine and won't dull your needles and pins.  The instructions and photos will help you along the way and you can choose to fill your pin pillow with crushed walnut shells, fiber fill, or any other choice of fillings.  This is also a project where that zipper that was cut too short for another project will come in useful.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial and I would love to see what you make.  Tag me on Instagram @angelatackettdesigns or #atdtutorials .  If you have any questions about the tutorial please e-mail me at patternhelp@angelatackettdesigns.com

TIP:  If you use a print with a head (like the cute matryoshka dolls I used) you might want to make sure you don't behead them with the zipper like I did.  🙂

Happy sewing, friends!
